Anybody that knows me knows that when a very important decision has to be made, don’t expect an answer right now. I do it in my personal life and I did it at work. When I used to give an initial feedback to young lieutenants, I would tell them to make a decision, get all the facts, think about it and then make your final decision. We should all do the same thing. We certainly do it in our lives…when we buy a house or a car. Why should we cut corners when we make decisions that affect people’s lives? Get both sides of the stories, talk to others that have been in similar situations, think of the long-term effects of the decision…and then make the call. More times than not you’ll make the right decision…good luck!
