I’ll admit, when I made the decision to retire from the military I was excited but I knew I had a challenge in front of me…finding my next job! Let me tell you, I applied for a lot of jobs and I won’t even get into how many times I was told “No”. In the end, I found the job I was looking for and couldn’t be happier…but during the process I was very frustrated. Looking back, I wish I would have taken a different look at all those “No’s”. Those jobs weren’t meant for me, but they were meant for the people that ended up getting them. I wasn’t the only person looking for a job…and there are still many out there looking. So every time I was told
“No”, somebody else received a “Yes”…and for that person I should have been happy. Life can be tough sometimes, but if you step back and take a look at it from a different angle, you can always find a way to find something positive…just try and find it. Have a great day!
