Taking new risks are very scary. However, when we fail to do so, we never get passed where we are currently. If we stop once we are good at something and only do that task, we will get blown by. To stay relevant as a leader during these times, we have to be willing to try something new or to put ourselves out there in an attempt to sharpen a new skill. We can’t lead our teams from a position of safety and expect them to accomplish anything worthwhile.
