The other day, I was sipping my morning coffee and talking myself out of a much-needed workout. An excuse I made to myself was that tomorrow would be better. Seriously? I just woke up and I am already acting as if the day has gotten away from me! Excuses. Finally, I had to shame myself with these words: if not now, when?

Tomorrow is not the place to shove all of the things you choose not to do today. Today is the place where you do all you can and pick up where you left off tomorrow. This is covered so well in one of my recent re-reads, Start. Punch Fear in the Face by Jon Acuff where Jon teaches how to just get started on whatever your passion is. We need to stop looking for all of the reasons why we shouldn’t start and just focus on one reason why we should.
