This Memorial Day is like all others. We take the day to appreciate the nation we serve and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. When we take the oath, we know it is a possibility to not make it home.Almost all of us have lost a brother or sister in arms who passed on the field or from injuries sustained due to the stress and demands levied upon us. However, we must never forget their sacrifice or their legacy.
We also need to make sure we are passing on the legacy of those who are still with us. Those who have taught us something or those who have given us the boot in the butt when we needed it most. Take a moment today and thank them for what they have done in your life and career. Call them up, text them, or share it with us. Never let their legacies fade away…
