I’m typing this on November 2…the month of Thanksgiving. Makes you think about what you are going to say on Thanksgiving Day when the question is asked “What are you thankful for”? When I think about the answer, it makes me think about a lot of the things I’ve complained about…maybe things I should be thankful for. For example, I complained I had to fix my air conditioning for my house. I complained that my yard is full of trees and I have to spend 3-4 hours every Saturday picking up leaves. Those are 2 simple examples, but the made me think. There are people out there that don’t even have a house, that would be happy to have a roof over their heads and wouldn’t care if there was air conditioning. Have to pick up some leaves?? I should be grateful I have such a big backyard. It’s been a crazy 2020 and if it hasn’t made you think…maybe you should. I encourage you to ask yourself, “what are you thankful for”? How are you going to answer that question? Truly think about your answer…and maybe the next step is to reach out and help someone that truly has something to complain out.
