Original thoughts are not something seen as you journey through the various media and social media outlets. I remember when I first discovered this as I was working on my master’s degree. I would find a lot of sources on a particular topic that were essentially saying the same thing and then I would stumble across the original source. It was shocking to me that all of these incredibly intelligent people were spending their time talking about another’s research. Now, we are just re-stating others’ opinions that aren’t based on any kind of foundation. Instead of beong an echo chamber, take a moment to form your own thoughts.
