When I was in the military I gave the “military family” speech numerous times. Part of the speech included the fact that we spent more of our time awake most days with the people we work with than our own families. I think that could be a true statement for most folks. Along with that came a culture of having a “second family” at work…at least if you did it right.

Then along came March 2020…and we went home. There are many debates that weigh pros and cons…and to be honest, I could make an argument either way. My question is, what is your “work culture” while you are working from home? Do you feel like you are a part of a “second family” or do you feel like an employee? Have you even met the people you work with? Again, I’m not saying one way is better than the other…but I do think some morale and comradery is missing when you lack face-to-face interactions. I’d be interested in seeing how you feel and how you have dealt with this? Times are changing…and we have to change with it to be successful. Have a great day!
